Folly Gardens Direct – our innovative mobile vet clinic that brings pet care to you – has proved popular since its launch last year. The idea came out of listening to clients and structuring our services to make it easy to care for your pet. Having our team come direct to you at home is the ultimate in convenience.


Our mobile clinic is run by experienced vet Sarah Morrison and qualified vet nurse Nickie Hancock every Tuesday and Thursday morning. Together they visit pets and owners living within a fifteen mile radius of our Walton Cardiff site, working through a schedule of appointments booked ahead via reception. Operating the service like this guarantees a personal connection between pet, vet and owner as well as continuity of care.


The mobile van includes a mini waiting area and fully equipped consulting room so we can offer all the usual vet services, or visit your pet in their home. This includes vaccinations, annual reviews, flea and worm control, routine monitoring for conditions like diabetes, and post-op checks. The only care we can’t offer is for emergencies, scans or surgery. For these you will be invited to one of our four clinics in Walton Cardiff, Tewkesbury, Bishop’s Cleeve and Leckhampton, all of which have an abundance of parking.


Our mobile clinic is valued by older people, those who don’t drive, owners of anxious or travel-sick pets, clients with large or multiple animals that are difficult to get in the car, commuters who are short of time and those working from home. It costs £35 on top of any treatment.


As part of our review, we’re also now offering more appointments on Saturdays. Our Walton Cardiff and Leckhampton clinics open each Saturday morning from 8.30am to 12noon whilst Bishop’s Cleeve opens all day from 8am until 4.30pm.
