Celebrate the Festive Season at Coughton Court

Coughton Court is the ideal place to start your festive celebrations suggests Abi Cole.

Get your festive season off to a great start by planning a trip to beautiful Coughton Court where you can enjoy the house dressed for the holiday, browse a Christmas market or bundle up warm and take a stroll around the stunning landscape.

Even seasoned visitors can explore the house afresh as we open our doors for nine days of merriment and cheer. Discover how the Throckmorton family celebrate Christmas surrounded by handmade decorations and traditional foliage and relax in the saloon where you’ll find a floor to ceiling Christmas tree plus local schools and choirs singing carols in front of the fire on weekdays.

Outside in the stable yard the Coach House Shop will be selling seasonal gifts and treats whilst Christmas lunches, mulled wine and mince pies will be available from the Kitchen Café.

Our popular Christmas market returns on the last weekend of November and the first weekend of December when a range of festive stalls will offer food, drink and gifts in the stable yard; perfect for filling up your cupboards with treats and gifts. Bring the little ones along to meet Father Christmas who will be waiting to receive visitors, dressed in traditional green robes.

Coughton will also be open after hours for an exclusive candlelit event. Enjoy a traditional three-course Christmas meal, stroll through the decorated rooms and relax in the saloon whilst the piano plays by a fire.
